About this Project

This study aimed to gauge citizens’ satisfaction with municipal services in the project’s target areas. It also sought to achieve several specific objectives, including assessing citizens’ access to and understanding of municipal management processes, their involvement in local affairs, and the various forms of engagement with local institutions and organizations.

The specific objectives would be to design, carry out, and analyze the survey results in the MDUR target municipalities, including factual and perceptual information.

  1. Assess citizens’ access and understanding of the process and information of the municipality’s management (budget formulation, expenditure, audits);
  2. Assess the extent to which citizens are involved in the affairs of the municipality, including budgeting, decisions, the functioning of CASECs and other local institutions, and the forms that this involvement takes (e.g., meetings, communication in other ways, council meetings, initiative led by NGOs or local associations, etc.);
